Peoria Notre Dame has gone 8-1 against Richwoods recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Irish will venture away from home to face off against the Knights at 4:30 p.m.

On Monday, Peoria Notre Dame didn't have quite enough to beat Alleman and fell 2-1. The Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Peoria Notre Dame saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lexie Dallinger-Eaker, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Meanwhile, after only one run in their last match, Richwoods made sure to put some runs up on the board against Midwest Central on Monday. The Knights blew past the Raiders 11-1. The Knights not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 15th (when they won 23-0).

Kayla Carver was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Carver was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-5 with three RBI and two doubles.

In other batting news, Addison Morrissey was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Leah Shaffer, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Richwoods was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. They are 3-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

Richwoods' record now sits at 4-15. As for Peoria Notre Dame, they now have a losing record of 12-13.

Peoria Notre Dame took their victory against Richwoods in their previous matchup back in April by a conclusive 10-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Irish since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
