After two games on the road, Thomas Heyward Academy is heading back home. They will take on the Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
Last Tuesday, Thomas Heyward Academy had to suffer through a rough 72-36 loss at the hands of Memorial Day.
Meanwhile, Coastal HomeSchool really took it to Heritage Christian Academy for the full four quarters, racking up a 100-30 win at home. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 54-21.
Coastal HomeSchool's win on Tuesday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kyrin Couvson, who scored 15 points along with 8 assists and 5 rebounds. Another player making a difference was QZ Stephan, who scored 13 points along with 5 steals.
Thomas Heyward Academy now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Coastal HomeSchool, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-4.
Thomas Heyward Academy came out on top in a nail-biter against Coastal HomeSchool when the teams last played on Friday, sneaking past 63-61. Will Thomas Heyward Academy repeat their success, or does Coastal HomeSchool have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
