Shaun Freitag Game Report: @ Grosse Pointe North

Shaun Freitag gave up the fewest hits he has over his last three games on Saturday. He wasn't messing around, not allowing a single earned run over four innings pitched. The pitching appearance was his third straight with zero or fewer earned runs.

Even though Freitag couldn't lead Chippewa Valley over Grosse Pointe North, he won't have to wait long to try again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Big Reds have some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since April of 2022, but a win here would be a good start.
