Volleyball Recap: Monterey Comes Up Short

Monterey saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Homestead Mustangs. The Dores have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Monterey's loss dropped their record down to 18-12. As for Homestead, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-9.

Monterey wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 win against Paso Robles on the 25th. As for Homestead, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against Clovis on the 25th.
