Basketball Recap: Fort Bend Willowridge Comes Up Short

Fort Bend Willowridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a blow against the Sealy Tigers, falling 71-41. The Eagles were down 53-29 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Sealy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kallan Hendry, who went 6 of 14 en route to 17 points in addition to seven assists and six boards. Another player making a difference was Hale Demaree, who went 6 for 10 on his way to 17 points and eight rebounds.

Fort Bend Willowridge's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Sealy, their record now sits at 13-5.

Fort Bend Willowridge has already played their next contest, a 67-39 loss against Almeta Crawford on the 24th. As for Sealy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 67-51 defeat against Royal on the 24th.
