Lipscomb Academy's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They never let the Ensworth Tigers get on the board and left with a 17-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

Mia Brauss was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. That home run was her first of the season.

In other batting news, Avery Story was excellent, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Corinne Pearman was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Lipscomb Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .792. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Lipscomb Academy's victory bumped their record up to 13-10. As for Ensworth, their loss dropped their record down to 0-14.

As of now, neither Lipscomb Academy nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
