Softball Recap: Kennett Falls Short Against Ranked Mccracken County

Kennett is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of McCracken County. The Indians fell 7-2 to the Mustangs. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Indians couldn't push the score so high this time.

Lynnley Patterson made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one home run, two RBI, and one double.

Kennett's defeat dropped their record down to 21-5. As for McCracken County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season.

While Kennett had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
