Basketball Recap: Salina Comes Up Short

Salina was the 55-37 winner over Chouteau-Mazie when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Salina Wildcats fell 46-38 to the Chouteau-Mazie Wildcats on Tuesday.

Salina's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Chouteau-Mazie, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Salina will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Kansas at 7:30 p.m. on December 20th. As for Chouteau-Mazie, they will be home for the holidays to greet Mounds at 7:30 p.m. on December 17th.
