Pascack Valley waltzed into their matchup on Wednesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with an 8-6 victory over the Teaneck Highwaymen. Eight seems to be a good number for the Panthers as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Pascack Valley pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Teaneck, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season.

Pascack Valley will venture away from home to take on St. Peter's Prep at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Teaneck, they will welcome Ridgewood at 4:15 p.m. on Monday.
