Volleyball Recap: Derby Takes a Loss

Derby lost against Manhattan back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Panthers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Indians.

Derby was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-23.

Derby's defeat dropped their record down to 13-15-2. As for Manhattan, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-8.

Derby has already played their next contest (against Shawnee Heights), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Manhattan, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Junction City on the 11th.
