Softball Preview: West Forsyth Titans vs. East Forsyth Eagles
The West Forsyth Titans will challenge the East Forsyth Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
East Forsyth will be up against a hot West Forsyth squad: the team just extended their winning streak to five. The Titans' pitchers stepped up to hand R.J. Reynolds a 15-0 shutout on Monday.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for East Forsyth, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They put the hurt on Glenn with a sharp 8-0 win on Monday.
Irelynn Price made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over seven innings pitched. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in March. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
