Softball Recap: Delaware County Christian Knights vs. Collegium Charter Cougar
Delaware County Christian extended their losing streak to 11 on Wednesday, dropping their season record down to 1-12 in the process. They came up short against the Collegium Charter Cougar, falling 14-8. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougar apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.
Julliet Jackson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two RBI and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Kathryn Certo, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Collegium Charter's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-7. Their hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.
On Collegium Charter's side, Hannah Quinn made a splash while hitting and pitching.
