Soccer Recap: Powell Takes a Loss

Powell lost against Lenoir City back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Powell came up short against Lenoir City, falling 3-0. That's two games in a row now that Powell has lost by exactly three goals.

This is the second loss in a row for Powell and nudges their season record down to 4-9-2. As for Lenoir City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-7-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Powell will challenge Pigeon Forge at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lenoir City, they will square off against McMinn County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
