Bennett proved they can win big last Wednesday (they won by 13) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 win over the Parkside Rams. This was a revenge game for the Clippers: when they faced off against the Rams back in March, they had to take a 1-0 loss.

Bennett pushed their record up to 8-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Parkside, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-4.

Coincidentally, Bennett and Parkside will both be playing Mardela the next time they take the field. The Rams will host the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Clippers will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
