 Auburn had to endure  a  ten-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past the Kennedy Catholic Lancers  7-6. That's more bragging rights for Auburn, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

 Auburn's win  ended  a  five-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 2-12. As for Kennedy Catholic,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 5-10-1.
 Auburn will be playing at home against Kent-Meridian at 7:00  p.m.  on Monday. Kent-Meridian is coming into the  matchup with five straight  defeats on the road,  meaning Auburn will have to defend against a  team hungry for a  victory. As for Kennedy Catholic, they will be playing at home against Kentridge at 3:15  p.m.  on Monday. Kentridge will roll in looking for their  sixth straight  win, something Kennedy Catholic surely won't give up without a fight.
