Football Recap: Bonneville Starts Season with Loss at Home + How To Watch

Bonneville unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Madison Bobcats on Friday, falling 33-13. The defeat continues a trend for the Bees in their meetings with the Bobcats: they've now lost six in a row.

Bonneville's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kaine Rodriguez, who picked up 138 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Another signal caller making a difference was Brock Faulkner, who threw for 143 yards and one touchdown.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bonneville is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Bishop Kelly at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Madison, they will head out to take on Hillcrest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
