Crossroads Christian will bounce into Thursday's game after beating Cape Fear Christian Academy, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Colts came out on top against the Eagles by a score of 11-7 on Tuesday. That's two games straight that the Colts have won by exactly four runs.

Crossroads Christian got a massive performance out of Cody Paschall, who went 4-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those four hits gave Paschall a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Easton Smith, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 5-for-5.

Meanwhile, Vance County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 33rd straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 19-0 to Sanderson.
