Softball Recap: Red Bluff Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Red Bluff had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 12-4 margin over Spring Creek.

Piper Tyler was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Autumn Eakin, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run.

Red Bluff kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least 11 hits in three consecutive contests.

Red Bluff's win bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Spring Creek, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-15.

Looking ahead, Red Bluff will head out to challenge Lassen at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Spring Creek, they will challenge Foothill at 5:20 p.m. on Friday. The Spartans' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 6.6 runs per game this season.
