Basketball Game Preview: Lake City Timberwolves vs. Deer Park Stags

The Lake City Timberwolves will be taking part in a tournament against the Deer Park Stags at 8:15 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Friday, Lake City had to suffer through a 69-38 loss at the hands of Central Valley. The Timberwolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Deer Park put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They breezed by Colville to the tune of 63-29. The Stags have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 32 points or more this season.

Deer Park pushed their record up to 4-0 with the victory, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.6 points per game. As for Lake City, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.
