Soccer Recap: Perkiomen Valley Takes a Loss

Perkiomen Valley fell victim to Lower Merion and their airtight defense on Saturday. They came up short against the Aces, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Perkiomen Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 165th, while Lower Merion are ranked 34th).

Perkiomen Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-6-2. As for Lower Merion, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 9-1-1.

Looking ahead, Perkiomen Valley will square off against Pottstown at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Perkiomen Valley will be up against Pottstown's rather soft defense (which has allowed seven goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Lower Merion, they are taking a road trip to take on Conestoga at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
