Basketball Recap: Frederick Fraize Takes a Loss

Frederick Fraize was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 83-6 loss at the hands of the Hancock County Hornets. The Aces lost against the Hornets in their previous head to head back in January, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 68-46 score last time.

Frederick Fraize's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Hancock County, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frederick Fraize will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on McLean County at 7:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Hancock County and Breckinridge County will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Breckinridge County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Hancock County likes a good challenge.
