Game recap: Madison High School Football Team wins against Mount Miguel

SPRING VALLEY, Calif. - Madison (San Diego, Calif.) beat Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, Calif.) 20-7.

After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Kevin Moore in the second quarter, the Warhawks led 7-0 at the half.

Each side put up seven points during the third quarter, and the fourth quarter began with the margin still at seven.

Mount Miguel's lone touchdown came on a 2-yard run by Rashad Harper in the third quarter.



The defeat comes as a step back for Mount Miguel, who notched a 25-15 victory over Otay Ranch in its previous outing. With the win Madison extended its winning streak to three games. The loss broke Mount Miguel's two-game winning streak.

Mount Miguel (2-1) will play a non-conference game against Helix next week, while Madison (3-0) will take on Eastlake also in a non-conference game.
