Baseball Recap: Ballard Memorial Takes a Loss

Ballard Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 12-0 to the Christian County Colonels. If the Bombers were looking for revenge after losing 19-6 to the Colonels when the teams met back in May of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Ballard Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Christian County, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-8 record this season.

Ballard Memorial is taking a road trip to face off against Breckinridge County at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Christian County, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Logan County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
