Konos Academy has struggled against Trinity Christian School of Griffin recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
When it comes to explaining why Konos Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Aaron Cramer. Despite the final result, he scored 17 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Ben Swann was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Jalen English continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Trinity Christian School of Griffin, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 12 rebounds. English is absolutely dominating the block category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of DJ Herring, who scored ten points along with eight rebounds.
Konos Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-10. As for Trinity Christian School of Griffin, the win (which was their 11th in a row) raised their record to 15-3.
Konos Academy will look to defend their home court on Friday against Calvary Christian at 8:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Georgia (Calvary Christian is ranked 411th, while Konos Academy is ranked 435th). As for Trinity Christian School of Griffin, they will head out on the road to face off against Praise Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
