Volleyball Recap: Block Island Takes a Loss

Block Island was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Mt. Hope Huskies.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-12, 17-25, 25-20.

Block Island's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Mt. Hope, their win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Block Island is set to square off against their familiar foe Exeter-West Greenwich at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Mt. Hope will challenge rival Mt. Pleasant at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
