Santa Cruz is 10-0 against Scotts Valley since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Santa Cruz Cardinals will head out to face off against the Scotts Valley Falcons at 7:30 p.m. Santa Cruz knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matches -- so hopefully Scotts Valley likes a good challenge.

Last Thursday, Santa Cruz strolled past Soquel with points to spare, taking the game 70-54.

Meanwhile, Scotts Valley humbled Harbor with a 76-49 victory. The Falcons have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven games by 21 points or more this season.

Santa Cruz is also on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.8 points per game. As for Scotts Valley, their win bumped their record up to 10-11.

Santa Cruz beat Scotts Valley 61-48 in their previous matchup last Tuesday. The rematch might be a little tougher for Santa Cruz since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
