Baseball Recap: Dobson Comes Up Short

Dobson fell victim to Westwood and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Warriors, falling 7-0. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Mustangs' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Dobson saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brody Dobson, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Dobson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Westwood, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-9.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dobson will welcome Gilbert at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Westwood, they will host Red Mountain at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
