Basketball Game Preview: North Summit Braves vs. Draper APA Eagles + Official Tickets

North Summit is a perfect 7-0 against Draper APA since February of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Braves are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

North Summit hadn't beaten Emery on the road since December 2, 2016 but that history sure didn't bother them on Saturday. The Braves came out on top against the Spartans by a score of 56-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Braves.

North Summit got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kate Smith out in front who shot 5-for-7 from deep and dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten rebounds. Those 19 points gave Smith a new career-high. Ellie Stephens was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and 11 boards.

Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Draper APA beat Judge Memorial Catholic 61-57 on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won four in a row.

Draper APA now has a winning record of 2-1. As for North Summit, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

North Summit was able to grind out a solid victory over Draper APA when the teams last played back in February, winning 53-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Braves since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
