Softball Recap: The Woodlands Comes Up Short at Home Against Plano East

The Woodlands unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They lost 14-8 to the Plano East Panthers on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Highlanders have suffered since April 2, 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Plano East and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

The Woodlands didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 6-4 win against Lutheran South Academy on the 13th. As for Plano East, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 4-3 victory against Taft on the 13th.
