Soccer Game Preview: Providence Hall vs. Emery

Providence Hall is on a five-game streak of home losses, and Emery an eight-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Providence Hall Patriots will be playing at home against the Emery Spartans at 4:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Tuesday, Providence Hall didn't have quite enough to beat Richfield and fell 3-2.

Dylan Chapman and Maksym Kosyk scored both of the Patriots' goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Emery after they claimed the first goal on Thursday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of Richfield by a score of 2-1.

Emery's loss dropped their record down to 1-16. As for Providence Hall, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-10.
