Football Game Preview: Cummings Cavaliers vs. Western Alamance Warriors

Cummings is 0-8-1 against Western Alamance since August of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Cavaliers will challenge the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Cummings has given up an average of 36.7 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Cummings came up short against Person and fell 40-28.

Meanwhile, Western Alamance came tearing into Friday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.6 points), and they left with even more momentum. They had just enough and edged out the Eagles 17-14. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Warriors have posted since October 25, 2024.

Western Alamance didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Kylon Richardson.

Cummings' loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Western Alamance, their victory bumped their record up to 6-1.

Cummings couldn't quite get it done against Western Alamance in their previous matchup back in August of 2024 as they fell 28-21. Can the Cavaliers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
