Monterey's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Vidalia Vikings. That four run margin sets a new team best for the Wolves this season.

Monterey's win was truly a team effort as eight different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Bryan Tillman, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Tillman also put up an RBI, which was his first of the season.

With the victory, Monterey broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-15. As for Vidalia, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

Monterey will head out to face off against Franklin Parish at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Vidalia, they will head out on the road to challenge Avoyelles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
