Softball Recap: Eastern Greene Thunderbirds vs. White River Valley Wolverines

It may have taken ten innings to finish the job, but Eastern Greene ultimately got the result they hoped for on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the White River Valley Wolverines 7-6. The Thunderbirds haven't had any issues with the Wolverines recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Charley Paurazas made a splash no matter where she played. She struck out nine batters over eight innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). Paurazas was also big at the plate, going 3-for-6 with four RBI, one stolen base, and one run.
