Flag Football Game Preview: Santiago Sharks vs. Mission Viejo Diablos + Official Tickets

The Santiago Sharks will head out to face off against the Mission Viejo Diablos at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Santiago will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Santiago is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against Patriot by a score of 25-12.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Mission Viejo, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They managed a 19-14 win over University on Tuesday.

Mission Viejo's win came from a few key players Santiago will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Bailey McNeal, who threw for 256 yards and three TDs. Those 256 passing yards gave her a new career-high. A healthy portion of McNeal's aerial production (100 yards to be exact) went to Mia Psarras, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Mission Viejo didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Emma Eldred and Brooklyn Koedel. Koedel is also on a roll when it comes to defended passes, as she's now defended at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Emily Johnson was another major factor on D, making eight total tackles (1.0 for loss) and defending three passes.

Mission Viejo now has a winning record of 15-14. As for Santiago, their victory bumped their record up to 8-10-1.
