Neuqua Valley lost to Naperville North on Monday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Wildcats came out on top against the Huskies by a score of 5-2.
Josh Repmann spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on seven hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Andy Barkley was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Joe Barkley was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs.
Neuqua Valley's victory bumped their record up to 12-13-1. As for Naperville North, they now have a losing record of 13-14.
