Baseball Recap: Westmoreland Takes a Loss

Westmoreland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Lancaster Red Devils. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Red Devils from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Westmoreland's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Lancaster, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

While Westmoreland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
