Volleyball Recap: Dugway Mustangs vs. Pinnacle Panthers
Dugway lost against Pinnacle back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Dugway Mustangs fell just short of the Pinnacle Panthers by a score of 3-2. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Dugway actually scored more points across those five sets (103-95), but sadly they still had to settle for second. After all that action, the final score was 25-19, 25-21, 12-25, 18-25, 15-13.
Even though they lost, Dugway was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 26 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in five consecutive contests.
Dugway's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Pinnacle, the victory snapped their losing streak at six games and leaves them with a 2-6 record.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dugway will welcome Utah School for the Deaf & Blind at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pinnacle, they will play host again on Friday to welcome Monument Valley, where is scheduled at 6:15 p.m.
