Football Recap: Southern Lee Gets the Win

Southern Lee's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They managed a 28-23 win over the West Johnston Wildcats. The Cavaliers haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Although West Johnston took the loss, they still got scores from Kayden Dowdy and Gavin Roberts.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-6. As for West Johnston, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Southern Lee wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 50-13 loss against Harnett Central on the 24th. As for West Johnston, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 35-7 victory against Western Harnett on the 24th.
