Dover faced Woodbridge in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Senators never let the Raiders get on the board and left with a 10-0 win. Considering the Senators have won five contests by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Dover's fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-4. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for Woodbridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dover will head out to square off against Caravel Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Buccaneers' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Senators' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Woodbridge, they will head out on the road to face off against Glasgow at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
