Softball Recap: Grapeland Takes a Loss

Alto hit Grapeland with a seven-run fourth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Sandies came up short against the Yellowjackets, falling 11-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Yellowjackets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 9-0 back in February.

Grapeland's loss dropped their record down to 8-16. As for Alto, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-4-1.

While Grapeland had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Saturday.
