Softball Recap: Nettleton Comes Up Short

Nettleton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 14th straight defeat. They lost 9-3 to the Paragould Rams. Raiders fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team's lost against the Rams since on Tuesday.

Mekenzie Racy was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run.

Nettleton's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Paragould, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-10 record.

Coming up, Nettleton will take on Parkview at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Paragould, they are taking a road trip to square off against Buffalo Island Central at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
