Lone Oak was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Bland Tigers. On the bright side, the four- run effort marked the Buffaloes' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Lone Oak's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Bland, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Lone Oak will face off against Valley View at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Bland, they will challenge Miller Grove at 10:40 a.m. on Thursday.
