Soccer Recap: Lee County Comes Up Short

Lee County came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Western Alamance Warriors. While losing is never fun, Lee County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 146th, while Western Alamance are ranked seventh).

Lee County's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Western Alamance, their win bumped their record up to 12-0-1.

Lee County has already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Southern Lee on the 29th. As for Western Alamance, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next match, an 8-2 win against Cedar Ridge on the 24th.
