Volleyball Recap: Franklin Learning Center Comes Up Short

After flying high against Olney on Monday, Franklin Learning Center came back down to earth. The Bobcats fell just short of Nueva Esperanza by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. That makes it the first time this season the Bobcats have let down their home crowd.

The 3-2 score doesn't really reflect how close the match was: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-22, 22-25, 25-23, 15-13.

Franklin Learning Center's loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Nueva Esperanza, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Franklin Learning Center will challenge rival Saul at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Nueva Esperanza is set to face off against their familiar foe Mastery Charter South co-op [Mastery Charter Lenfest/Mastery Charter Thomas] at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
