Baseball Recap: Canyon Hills Comes Up Short

After flying high against New Roads on Tuesday, Canyon Hills came back down to earth. The Rattlers lost 14-6 to the Mountain Empire Redhawks on Tuesday.

Sam Wabe was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. He is becoming a predictor of Canyon Hills' success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 1-6-2 when he doesn't). Taylon Sheriff also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
