POTTSTOWN, Pa. - the Falcons scored 24 points in the second quarter to secure a big 38-0 victory over Pottstown (Pa.) on Saturday.
Pottsgrove scored on a touchdown run by
Sene Polamalu, a
Devon Fink touchdown run and a touchdown pass by
Riley Michaels to
Jalen Mayes in the quarter.
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by Polamalu in the first quarter, the Falcons led 31-0 at the half.
Pottsgrove grew its lead to 38 points entering the fourth quarter. The Falcons' lone score in the quarter came on an
Orrin Toomer touchdown run.
With the win Pottsgrove extended its winning streak to seven games. Pottsgrove defeated Owen J. Roberts 63-7 last week.
The Falcons went into the matchup giving up only 9.2 points per game.
In a Pioneer game next week Pottstown (0-7) takes on Upper Perkiomen, and Pottsgrove (7-0) will go up against Phoenixville also in a Pioneer game.
