Basketball Recap: Putnam Comes Up Short

Putnam suffered their biggest defeat since January 10th on Tuesday. They came up short against the La Salle Falcons, falling 52-31. The Kingsmen were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Falcons earlier this season, when they won 60-54.

Putnam's loss dropped their record down to 7-9. As for La Salle, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 12-7 record this season.

Putnam has already played their next matchup (against Hillsboro), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for La Salle, they will face off against Parkrose at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Parkrose has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the game with four straight defeats, while La Salle will come in with three straight wins.
