Softball Recap: Forestville Central's Undefeated Season over After Nine Games

If Forestville Central was riding high fresh off their 9-3 takedown of Randolph on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hornets fell just short of the Silver Creek Black Knights by a score of 4-3 on Wednesday. The match marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Forestville Central fell to 8-1. As for Silver Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-1 record this season.
