Volleyball Recap: Marin Catholic Takes a Loss

Marin Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Novato Hornets. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Hornets earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

Marin Catholic couldn't get the win, but they sure gave Novato a tough time in the third set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20, 32-30.

Marin Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Novato, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-8 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marin Catholic will square off against San Rafael at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Novato, they will take on Archie Williams at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Novato is facing Archie Williams at the right time seeing as Archie Williams is stuck on a six-game losing streak.
