Dawson-Boyd had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 41.7 points) and they went ahead and made it ten on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 80-66 victory over the Montevideo Thunderhawks. This was payback for the Blackjacks, who suffered a 77-72 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Dawson-Boyd pushed their record up to 21-3 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 89.0 points over those games. As for Montevideo, their loss ended a 14-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 20-3.
